A one-month-old twin infant in Oman has made a full recovery after being diagnosed with the COVID-19 novel coronavirus.
In a statement issued online by the General Directorate of Health Services in South Ash Sharqiyah, the authority confirmed that the child was declared virus-free by medical teams in the Wilayat of Ja’alan Bani Bu Ali on Sunday [July 12].
This is the second announcement made by health authorities in Oman regarding an infant contracting COVID-19 and recovering fully.
On July 6, a baby who was diagnosed with the virus at just eight-days-old was also reported to have made a full recovery.
