Oman’s Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MoAF) has re-opened the Seeb Fish Market after a three-month lockdown resulting from the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic.
Ibrahim bin Abdullah al-Qartoobi, Director of Fisheries Department in the Wilayat of Seeb said, that, for the time being only 30 per cent of the market’s capacity will be utilized — which means only fishermen, salesmen, fish-cutters (filleters) and inhabitants of the Wilayat of Seeb will be allowed to enter the market.
