ROP warn public of fraudulent COVID-19 treatment scams

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) have issued a notice to the public warning them to be vigilant against “fraudulent advertisements” that claim to cure or prevent coronavirus.

In a statement issued online, the ROP have implored citizens and residents not to adhere to such scams and to “be aware of false information in their online transactions.”
