Teams from the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) have rescued a man who was bitten by a snake in a mountain area in Al Dhahirah Governorate.
In a statement issued online, PACDA said: “Authority teams responded to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of Al Dhahirah about an individual suffering from a snake bite in a mountain village in the Wilayat of Yanqul. The teams were able to reach the citizen, provide him with emergency medical care, and help him reach the hospital in moderate health condition.”
Details as to how the bite occurred, or the species of snake involved have not yet been released.
