Oman’s Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) has commended a fast-acting petrol pump employee for successfully dousing a vehicle that had caught fire at a fuel station in the Sultanate.
In a statement issued online, PACDA said: “Referring to the video clip circulating around the outbreak of a vehicle fire at a fuel filling station, the Authority commends the correct behaviour of the station operator who put out the fire, and the Authority calls on drivers of vehicles of the importance of following safety procedures while re-fueling.”
Details as to the location of the fuel station where the incident took place have not be released at this time.
