Oman’s Ministry of Manpower (MoM) has announced the receipt of more than 4,400 applications for cancellation of expatriate work permits last month.
In a statement issued online today [Monday, June 22], the MoM confirmed a total of 4,467 electronic applications received by the ministry “to cancel work permits for non-Omani workforce during the month of May, 2020 in all governorates of the Sultanate.”
Of these requests, 4,332 were for commercial permits and 135 for private permits, the Ministry’s statement further clarified.
