Oman to coordinate return of Omani students, citizens from Australia, New Zealand

The Consulate General of Oman in Australia has issued an announcement to all scholarship students and nationals currently residing in Australia and New Zealand who wish to return to the Sultanate this month.

In a statement issued online on Friday [July 10] the Consulate has advised Omani students and citizens of travel arrangements being made to repatriate Omanis in both countries.

As per the announcement: “The Consulsate General wishes to draw the attention of all scholarship students in Australia and New Zealand, as well as all Omani nationals who wish to return to Oman in July 2020.

The Consulate General is in coordination with a number of domestic and international airlines to facilitate the repatriation of Omani students and nationals currently residing in Australia and New Zealand.

As such, the Consulate General appeals to all those who wish to return to the Sultanate, to email their full details — including civil number, housing address, and name of their state to the Consulate General at [email protected], no later than Tuesday, July 14, so that the Consulate General may coordinate with local and international airlines to arrange travel procedures.”
