Oman ranked fifth safest country in the world by global database

When it comes to crime rate and personal safety, Oman has been ranked the fifth safest country in the world in global database Numbeo’s 2020 mid-year Crime Index of 133 countries.

Among its rankings, the Sultanate scored 79.38 points after Qatar, which ranked first with 88.10 points, Taiwan with 84.74, the UAE with 84.55 points, and Georgia with 79.50 points.

Numbeo, the worlds largest crowd-sourced online database, features global rankings and statistics on cost of living, crime rates, quality of life, and healthcare among countries worldwide.
