Oman records 10 COVID-19 fatalities for second day in a row

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced that another 10 COVID-19 patients have succumbed to complications resulting from the novel coronavirus today [Sunday, June 5].

This marks the second consecutive day in a row that the Sultanate has recorded 10 COVID-19-related casualties and, in a statement issued online, the MoH has confirmed that the country’s coronavirus death toll now stands at 213.

In its remarks, the MoH has extended its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and has called upon the public to adhere to all health and safety precautions to reduce the spread of the virus.
