The Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced that 10 COVID-19 patients have died in the Sultanate in the last 24-hours.

In a statement, the MoH said that the total number of coronavirus deaths has reached 203.

On its twitter account, the ministry called upon people to adhere to the Supreme Committee to Combat COVID-19 regulations and guidelines to flatten the curve.

On Thursday, Oman’s Minister of Health, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Al Saedi said that: “It is time to name and shame people who repeatedly violate COVID-19 preventive rules,”.

During the 12th press conference, the Minister said that people who have violated Supreme Committee directives on COVID-19 multiple times must have their names announced to the public.

H.E. Dr. Al Saeedi also stated that he sees it in the context of a crime of homicide if someone who has symptoms of COVID-19 mixes knowingly with other people.

Calling on people in Oman to be more “responsible and humane”, the Minister of Health warned the public that ,“no house is protected from COVID-19.”
