Crews from the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) have carried out evacuation measures to rescue 23 people stranded in Marmul.
In a statement issued online today [Sunday, May 31] by Oman’s National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM), the evacuees were airlifted from a site belonging to an oil company after torrential rains caused significant flooding in Marmul in the area of Shalim and Hallaniyat Islands.
