Oman: His Majesty issues two Royal Decrees

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued two Royal Decrees today [Wednesday, June 3], Oman News Agency (ONA) has announced.

As per ONA, the first Royal Decree outlined provisions for the establishment and operational structure of The Private Office affiliated directly to His Majesty.

The second Royal Decree indicates the appointment of Dr. Hamad bin Sulaiman Al-Aufi as head of The Private Office, with the same rank and financial allocations.

Dr. Al-Aufi has previously held the role of Oman’s Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries.
