The MoAF have instructed fishermen in Dhofar and surrounding areas to “take care and caution” as high seas and rough weather are expected. The Ministry has also stated that fishing boats, ships, and equipment should be safely secured.

A similar advisory has also been issued by the MoAF to farmers and beekeepers in the Dhofar region, instructing them to take all precautions to ensure the safety of their livestock and beehives, and “not to risk grazing livestock and keep them away from wadis and streams” during the weather event.
