Oman’s Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources (MRMWR), in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police has confiscated and disposed of food found to be unfit for human consumption in Dhofar Governorate.
In a statement issued online, the MRMWR said that the undertaking comes as a continuation of the Ministry’s efforts to inspect food establishments and warehouses as part of its Food Safety and Quality Services.
The foodstuffs seized at the establishments in Dhofar were confiscated for being stored in warehouses that failed to meet health standard requirements.
