The Embassy of Pakistan in Oman has announced the return of 28 Pakistani doctors to the Sultanate.
In a statement issued online, the Embassy confirmed that a special Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight carrying the doctors landed at Muscat International Airport this morning [Friday, June 19], saying:
“After hectic efforts, today morning, 28 doctors and their family members arrived in Muscat from Pakistan to resume their duties.”
Embassy officials expressed their gratitude to authorities in Oman, the Omani Ambassador in Islamabad, Oman’s Ministry of Health, and the Chairman of PIA for making the doctors’ return journey possible.
