In an exclusive interview on Al Wisal Radio, Al Hosni said that a new set of changes will accompany the minimum wage “circular”.

He stressed that the biggest challenges facing the country currently are “job seekers and financial sustainability”.

Al Hosni promised that more Omanis will replace expats in the public sector and in more companies in the private sector in different leadership positions soon, which, according to him, will provide many vacancies for Omanis. The undersecretary explained that OMR325 is the minimum wage and any other number can be settled between the company and the employee without the ministry’s interference.
