Oman has cancelled the minimum wage required for Omani job seekers linked to their academic degree, as long as it exceeds the general minimum wage of OMR325.
This new ruling was issued in a circular by His Excellency Nasr Al Hosni, undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour
Earlier, Omanis with certain academic qualifications had higher minimum wage than OMR350 depending on their degree.
