In the statement which was announced Saturday [June 20], the MoH has updated the hours of operation to 8:30 a.m. till 1:30 p.m., Sundays to Thursdays, for the below centres effective from today [Sunday, June 21].

Medical Fitness Examination Centers in Darsait, Seeb (Sharadi), and Rusail.
Outreach unit in Ghala (Next to Holiday Inn, Khimji’s Compound.)

As per the Ministry, all residents seeking to be tested must show proof of company name, name of PRO/company representative, or sponsor name (labour card/resident ID).

In exceptional instances where a patient presents for testing without a resident ID card, they must then provide a valid mobile phone number.

The MoH has also stated that, in cases where patients cannot provide either of the above, the onus of responsibility falls on the patient themselves, as failure to provide valid identification can lead to deficiencies in follow-up care.
