His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has conveyed greetings to citizens and residents of Oman on the blessed occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
As Oman News Agency (ONA) reports, a statement issued this evening [Saturday, May 23] from the Diwan of Royal Court reads as follows:
“His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has addressed heartfelt greetings to the people of Oman and residents on its territory, as well as the Islamic nation, on the blessed occasion of Eid Al Fitr (of the Year 1441 AH), praying to the Almighty Allah to accept their good deeds and to bring back this occasion and similar happy occasions over and over again when all citizens and residents are enjoying good health and safety.
His Majesty the Sultan expresses his deep appreciation for all efforts exerted, and measures undertaken, to combat the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and alleviate its health, social, and economic impacts.
His Majesty voices his appreciation for the commendable comportment, benign action, and full cooperation of all within the departments concerned as he calls upon all citizens and residents on Omani territory to keep up their collaboration and cooperation to help tackle this pandemic prevailing in the Sultanate and the whole world,
His Majesty the Sultan directs all members of the public to fully abide by instructions issued and to be issued by the departments concerned.
In this context, His Majesty the Sultan reaffirmed that the government, across all its sectors, is keen and prepared to do all that might secure a decent life for all those who live on the dear land of Oman.
May the Almighty Allah protect His Majesty the Sultan, the people of Oman, and residents therein!
May the Almighty Allah spare the Sultanate and the whole world all harms and all calamities!
