Oman’s Moon-Sighting Committee has announced this evening [Saturday, May 23], that the Dhul Hijja moon for AH 1441 was seen, according to the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Oman TV reports.

This means that the first day of Eid Al Fitr will fall on Sunday [May 24]. According to the Royal directives, the Eid holiday will start from Sunday [May 24] and go until Tuesday [May 26] for both public and private sector employees. Work will resume on Wednesday [May 27].
