Titled ‘parents4parents’, the campaign aims to shed light on positive parenting practices with a focus on topics, including:

1. How parents are motivating their children to continue studying following school closures and a shift to online learning.

2. How parents are making sure their children stay active.

3. New hobbies or activities for the whole family.

4. Ensuring the family eats healthy, nutritious meals (especially children!).

5. Tips for other parents about self-care, and how to cope with stress or anxiety.

6. Making sure that children and teens remain in touch with their friends and family while staying home.

Want to show how your family has embraced life under #COVID19! To take part in UNICEF Oman’s digital campaign, record a 30- to 60-second fun or inspirational video that includes the whole family, upload the video to your social media using #parents4parents and @unicef_oman tags. This video can be TikTok-inspired or any other creative way that you wish to spread your message to stay healthy, active, and positive to all families in Oman.

Let’s come together and show the world that COVID-19 has only strengthened our drive to support one another! We can’t wait to see your videos!

Since the outbreak of the virus, UNICEF has been working with governments and other UN agencies worldwide to provide tips on parenting during the coronavirus outbreak, protecting young people’s mental health, education, hand-washing, and eating healthy, nutritious food.

UNICEF Oman would like to thank zeros2ones for their support in making this campaign possible.
