COVID-19: Travelers to the UK must now undergo compulsory 14-day quarantine

Travelers arriving to the UK will now have to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine British authorities have announced, with the new measures coming into effect today [Monday, June 8].

In a statement issued online by Oman Air, the airline has confirmed to passengers that: “Upon arrival in the UK, all travelers must undergo a 14-day, self-isolated quarantine.”

Passengers traveling to the UK will also be required to register online and fill out a Passenger Locator form prior to departure, of which an electronic receipt must be presented at check-in.

Oman Air plans to operate a round-trip repatriation flight from Muscat to London on June 20.
