Three repatriation flights from Oman to India will operate out of Muscat International Airport today [Saturday, May 30] as more Indian nationals wanting to return home head back as part of the Republic’s Vande Bharat mission.
In a statement issued online by the Indian Embassy in Oman, check-in procedures for Air India Express flights carrying passengers from Muscat to Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and Trivandrum have begun.
Embassy officials have also confirmed that an additional flight from Muscat to Kochi, which departed yesterday [Friday, May 29], saw 177 passengers and four infants safely repatriated.
As of tomorrow [Sunday, May 31] Indian officials are set to operate nine more repatriation flights from Oman as part of 15 additional trips announced between May 28-June 7.
As per the Embassy, the flight schedule is as follows:
May 28: Muscat — Kozhikode
May 28: Salalah — Kannur
May 29: Muscat — Kochi
May 30: Muscat — Jaipur
May 30: Muscat — Ahmedabad
May 30: Muscat — Trivandrum
May 31: Salalah — Kannur
June 1: Muscat — Kozhikode
June 1: Salalah — Kannur
June 2: Muscat — Srinagar
June 3: Muscat — Bhubaneshwar
June 3: Muscat — Kannur
June 4: Muscat — Kochi
June 4: Muscat — Trivandrum
June 7: Muscat — Chennai
