COVID-19: Pakistan repatriates 800+ citizens from Oman since May 21

The Embassy of Pakistan in Oman has carried out the successful repatriation of 827 of it citizens living in Oman over the span of one week, since May 21.

In statements issued online, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Oman, KK Ahsan Wagan confirmed that two Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights carrying 280 passengers left Muscat for Lahore on May 21.

An additional Oman Air flight carrying 265 Pakistani citizens departed on May 22 also bound for Lahore.

His Excellency the Ambassador also confirmed the safe departure of another 282 passengers on two PIA flights to Multan. Ambassador Wagan also expressed his thanks to the Omani government and participating airlines for their support in the repatriation efforts.
