COVID-19: Oman reports 6 new coronavirus fatalities on Monday

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has indicated that the number of COVID-19 deaths in the Sultanate has risen by 6 new fatalities.

Today [Monday, June 8], in its daily statement announcing the registration of new COVID-19 cases in Oman, the MoH also noted that the number of COVID-19-related deaths now stands at 81.

As of today, 604 new cases of the novel coronavirus have been registered by health authorities, bringing the overall total in the country to 17,486, with 3,793 recoveries also recorded.

The MoH has also confirmed that 283 patients with COVID-19 are currently admitted to hospital in Oman, with 75 of those patients in intensive care.
