Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has indicated that the number of COVID-19 deaths in the Sultanate has risen by 9 new fatalities since yesterday.
Today [Friday, June 26], in its daily statement announcing the registration of new COVID-19 cases in Oman, the MoH also noted that the number of COVID-19-related deaths now stands at 153.
As of today, 1,132 new cases of the novel coronavirus have been registered by health authorities, bringing the overall total in the country to 36,034, with 19,482 recoveries also recorded.
The MoH has also confirmed that 426 patients with COVID-19 are currently admitted to hospital in Oman, with 105 of those patients in intensive care.
