Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 1,124 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate, while the number of daily recoveries is 737.
In a statement issued online today [Wednesday, July 1], the MoH has confirmed that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 41,194, while total recoveries have now reached 24,162.
Of the new cases announced today, 862 are among Omani citizens and 262 are among non-Omani residents.
The MoH has also confirmed that the number of COVID-19 fatalities now stands at 185 with 9 new deaths announced today, while the number of coronavirus patients hospitalized in Oman stands at 426, with 120 in ICU.
A total of 3,533 COVID-19 tests have been carried out in the country in the last 24 hours.
