COVID-19: Oman records 5 new coronavirus fatalities on Thursday

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has indicated that the number of COVID-19 deaths in the Sultanate has risen by 5 new fatalities.

Today [Thursday, June 11], in its daily statement announcing the registration of new COVID-19 cases in Oman, the MoH also noted that the number of COVID-19-related deaths now stands at 89.

As of today, 1,067 new cases of the novel coronavirus have been registered by health authorities, bringing the overall total in the country to 19,954, with 6,623 recoveries also recorded.

The MoH has also confirmed that 308 patients with COVID-19 are currently admitted to hospital in Oman, with 92 of those patients in intensive care.
