COVID-19: Oman marks 6 new coronavirus fatalities on Monday

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has indicated that the number of COVID-19 deaths in the Sultanate has risen by 6 new fatalities.

Today [Monday, June 22], in its daily statement announcing the registration of new COVID-19 cases in Oman, the MoH also noted that the number of COVID-19-related deaths now stands at 137. 

As of today, 1,605 new cases of the novel coronavirus have been registered by health authorities, bringing the overall total in the country to 31,076, with 16,408 recoveries also recorded.

The MoH has also confirmed that 407 patients with COVID-19 are currently admitted to hospital in Oman, with 100 of those patients in intensive care.
