COVID-19 Muscat: Wilayats of Seeb, Bausher see highest increases for new cases on Sunday

Oman has registered 866 new cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus today [Sunday, June 7], bringing the total number in the country to 16,882. As per the latest tallies, Muscat Governorate saw cases rise by 623 as of today, bringing the total number of coronavirus cases in the capital to 12,818.

Among the Wilayats with the highest numbers of cases, Seeb saw cases jump by 263 today, followed by the Wilayat of Bausher with 208 new cases, and the Wilayat of Muttrah with 102 new cases.

Authorities at the Ministry of Health (MoH) have confirmed that COVID-19 recoveries in the nation still remain at 3,541, with 75 deaths recorded thus far.
