— Omanis can travel abroad without a permit or approvals if they want to leave the country. But they must obtain health insurance for their country of destination.

— For arrivals here in Oman, both Omanis and expats are required to undertake a 14-day quarantine. If individuals choose to go to institutional quarantine, then they must bear the cost and provide proof of booking for the location in which they will undergo the quarantine upon arrival to the airport.

— All citizens and residents arriving back to Oman on the special repatriation flights must register on the Tarrasud Plus app and obtain the tracking bracelet at the airport arrivals terminal. They must also ensure that they have health insurance.

— Expatriates who are residents in Oman can return to the Sultanate by request either through their companies, embassies, or the airline company. This letter of request gets sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for final approval before facilitating their return trip.

Brigadier General Saeed bin Sulaiman Al Asmi, General Director of Operations, Royal Oman Police

— A fine of OMR 100 will be implemented for violating the ban on movement during the lockdown period.
