The Indonesian Embassy in Muscat has confirmed the departure of the country’s first repatriation flight from Oman which departed early yesterday morning [Monday, July 6].
In a statement issued online, the Embassy stated that the Garuda Indonesia flight carrying 180 Indonesian citizens took off bound for Jakarta. Among those on-board the flight were passengers who had been stranded in the Sultanate on expired visit visas, those whose employment contracts had expired, along with passengers returning home for medical reasons.
