Oman: Muscat Municipality announces revised timings for shopping malls

Muscat Municipality has announced revised timings for shopping malls and commercial complexes in the governorate.

In a circular issued to media today [Monday, July 6], the Municipality confirmed that the new timings for all malls and commercial centres in the capital will be from 10:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m., with the exemption of hypermarkets.

The Municipality has also advised that the use of fitting/dressing rooms is prohibited in all stores.

Oman’s Supreme Committee for COVID-19 had announced the inclusion of shopping malls and commercial complexes among the updated list of commercial activities which were allowed to re-open on June 24, amid COVID-19 health and safety precautions.
