The Indian Embassy in Muscat has announced the scheduling of four more repatriation flights from Oman as Phase 3 of the Republic’s Vande Bharat mission begins.
In a circular issued to media this afternoon [Monday, June 22], the following flights will depart between June 27-30:
S.no | Date | From | To |

28 June 2020 | Muscat | Mumbai
29 June 2020 | Muscat | Chennai
30 June 2020 | Muscat | Mangalore |
The additional flights mark a total of 27 repatriation flights scheduled from Oman to India between June 9-30.
As before, the Indian Embassy has confirmed that passenger lists for all repatriation flights will be finalized by the Embassy, and those short-listed to fly will be contacted directly by their representatives.
Priority for travel will be given to those with medical emergencies, pregnant women and the elderly, workers in distress, and “other Indian nationals who are stranded in difficult situations.”
In its statement, the Embassy has reiterated that: “The cost of tickets will have to be borne by the passengers themselves and air tickets will be issued by the airline only to short-listed persons. All passengers are required to confirm acceptance of all conditions of travel, including quarantine requirements in India, as well as health requirements in order to board the flight.”
