COVID-19: Cases in Muscat cross 10,000, Seeb sees highest increase among Wilayats

As Oman registers 738 new cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus today [Wednesday, June 3], bringing the national total to 13,538, 528 new cases confirmed in Muscat Governorate have seen the total in the capital reach 10,263.

Among the Wilayats with the highest numbers of cases, Seeb saw an increase of 194 new cases, followed by the Wilayat of Bausher with 145 new cases, and the Wilayat of Muttrah with 139 new cases.

Authorities at the Ministry of Health (MoH) have confirmed that COVID-19 recoveries in the nation have risen to 2,845, while fatalities have shot up from 59 to 67 as of Wednesday.
