COVID-19: As cases in Muscat climb by 802, Wilayat of Seeb sees highest jump

As Oman registers 1,014 new cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus today [Sunday, May 31], bringing the national total to 11,437, 802 new cases have been confirmed in Muscat Governorate for a total of 8,648 in the capital.

This marks the governorate’s largest single-day increase in cases, with the Wilayat of Seeb seeing a jump of 330 new cases, followed by the Wilayat of Bausher with 285 new cases.

Cases in Muttrah, however, saw a drop in numbers with 137 new cases registered today.
