COVID-19: 6 new casualties on Friday bring fatalities in Oman to 125

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has indicated that the number of COVID-19 deaths in the Sultanate has risen by 6 new fatalities.

Today [Friday, June 19], in its daily statement announcing the registration of new COVID-19 cases in Oman, the MoH also noted that the number of COVID-19-related deaths now stands at 125. 

As of today, 852 new cases of the novel coronavirus have been registered by health authorities, bringing the overall total in the country to 27,670, with 13,974 recoveries also recorded.

The MoH has also confirmed that 389 patients with COVID-19 are currently admitted to hospital in Oman, with 102 of those patients in intensive care.
