#BREAKING: Oman’s COVID-19 fatality rate climbs to 40

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the death of a 51-year-old Omani citizen who has succumbed to complications resulting from COVID-19.

In a statement issued online this morning [Thursday, May 28] the MoH confirmed that the Sultanate’s COVID-19 death toll has now reached 40 fatalities.

The Ministry has extended its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.
