COVID-19 Oman: Cases in Muscat cross 6,300 as of Wednesday

As Oman registers 255 new cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus today [Wednesday, May 27], bringing the national total to 8,373, 136 new cases have been confirmed in Muscat Governorate, marking a total of 6,307 in the capital.

The second and third highest numbers of total COVID-19 cases are in South Al Batinah Governorate with 571 cases, and North Al Batinah with 554 cases respectively.

These are followed by Al Dhakiliyah Governorate with a total of 354 cases, South Ash Sharqiyah Governorate with a total of 251 cases, Al Dhahirah with a total of 121 cases, Al Buraimi with 87 total cases, North Ash Sharqiyah with 76 total cases, Dhofar with a total of 27 cases, Al Wusta with 17 total cases, and Musandam with a total of 8 COVID-19 cases.
