#BREAKING: Oman records 39th COVID-19-related death

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the death of a 58-year-old resident who has succumbed to complications from coronavirus this evening [Wednesday, May 27].

In a statement issued online, the MoH confirmed that the Sultanate’s COVID-19 fatality rate now stands at 39.

The Ministry has offered its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.

As of today, Oman has recorded a total of 8,373 cases of COVID-19 in the country.
