Oman’s Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA), has announced that the month of Dhu Al Hijjah will begin on Wednesday, July 22, after its official moon-sighting committee spotted the new crescent moon in skies above the Sultanate this evening [Tuesday, July 21].
As such, the Ministry has announced that the first day of Eid Al Adha in Oman will fall on Friday, July 31, 2020.
