#BREAKING: 1,067 new cases of COVID-19 registered in Oman, total now 19,954

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has confirmed the registration of 1,067 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement issued online today [Thursday, June 11] the MoH has stated that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 19,954.

Of the 1,067 new cases registered today, 342 are among Omani citizens and 725 are among non-Omani residents. The Ministry has also confirmed that COVID-19 recoveries in the Sultanate have risen to 6,623, with 89 deaths recorded thus far.

As per the Ministry there are currently 308 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in the country, with 92 of those patients in intensive care. As of today, 2,747 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Oman over the last 24 hours.
