#BREAKING: 1,006 new cases of COVID-19 registered in Oman, total now 22,077

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 1,006 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement issued online today [Saturday, June 13] the MoH has confirmed that the total number of cases in the country now stands at 22,077.

Of the 1,006 new cases announced today, 435 are among Omani nationals and 571 are among non-Omani residents. The MoH has also confirmed that the number of COVID-19 recoveries in the Sultanate has risen to 7,530, with 99 deaths recorded thus far.

As per the Ministry, there are currently 315 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Oman, with 94 of them in intensive care. As of today, there have been 3,135 COVID-19 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.
