US Secretary of State to meet His Majesty the Sultan in Oman

American Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo will travel to Oman this week, the US State Department has announced.

The Sultanate will be his last destination in the region following Israel, Sudan, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.

He will conclude his trip in Oman, where he will meet with Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik Al Said to promote unity among the Gulf Cooperation Council and build on the historic momentum to advance regional peace and prosperity.
