TRANSOM has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Air Algérie Group to explore establishing a joint venture for ground handling and other aviation services in Algeria.
The agreement marks TRANSOM’s entry into North Africa and expands its growing presence in Africa. Nasser Ahmed Al Sharji, CEO of TRANSOM, said the partnership will bring the company’s aviation expertise to Algeria and support improved operational efficiency and ground services.
Air Algérie Group CEO Hamza Benhamouda said the partnership aims to enhance ground services and the passenger experience across Algeria’s airports.
TRANSOM currently operates across Oman and at airports in Tanzania, including Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro and Mwanza..
