Dolly Parton has left behind an unreleased song for future generations. “My Place in History,” recorded in 2015, is locked away at her DreamMore Resort in Tennessee. The “Dream Box” contains the song on CD and is set to be opened 20 years from now, on January 19, 2046 — what would have been her 100th birthday.

 

A new study suggests emotional ties to an ex can take years to fade. Researchers found the connection was typically only half gone after four years, with complete detachment estimated to take around eight years. Ongoing contact and attachment style were linked to stronger, longer-lasting bonds – and for some people, traces of that attachment may never completely disappear.

 

Sony Music Publishing and Warner Chappell Music are suing AI company Anthropic, accusing it of illegally copying thousands of copyrighted songs to train its Claude AI models. The company denies the allegations and says it will defend itself in court. The publishers say the songs allegedly copied include “Eye of the Tiger,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and Taylor Swift’s “Paper Rings.”
