Instagram is testing a new feature allowing selected creators to upload horizontal videos lasting up to 90 minutes. The trial is currently available to a limited number of creators in the US and Brazil. Users can also link short Reels to full-length videos, helping viewers move from brief clips to complete episodes.
Microsoft is offering voluntary buyouts to around 27% of its global workforce as it increases investment in AI. The scheme covers about 60,000 employees in the US, UK, Canada and India. It follows 4,800 job cuts announced over the summer, partly linked to the company’s growing focus on AI technology.
At what age are you considered “old”? A UK survey has found that Gen Z believes old age begins at 62, while adults overall put it closer to 69. But it’s not all bad news if you’re in your sixties. Younger people are actually more likely than Baby Boomers to see 62-year-olds as great employees. So you might be getting older, but you’re certainly not past your sell-by date!
