The head of CP30 from the Star Wars movie The Empire Strikes Back has just sold for more than $1 million at an auction. It was part of a collection of film and TV memorabilia that went under the hammer in Los Angeles and is the only known example of the fictional droid’s head to appear on the collector market.

 

Nestlé has confirmed that roughly 12 tons of KitKat bars were stolen from a truck, with the vehicle and its entire contents still nowhere to be found. In a statement, Nestlé said it “appreciates the criminals’ exceptional taste” but added that cargo theft is an escalating issue for businesses across Europe. Nestlé also said the haul amounts to 413,793 KitKat bars.

 

Ads will start appearing on Apple ‌Maps this summer. Advertisers will be able to claim their physical locations through a set of business tools, which Apple also said it plans to revamp next month. The company hasn’t said how much revenue it expects to generate from the new service or how many users of its devices use its Maps service.
