Netflix has acquired the rights to produce a feature film based on Sesame Street, following a competitive bidding war with Universal and Warner Bros. It’s being developed by the production company behind the live-action Lilo & Stitch and Aladdin remakes, and the film will be produced in partnership with Sesame Workshop.

 

According to a new report from economists in the US, working from home may contribute to depression. They found that a recent surge in depression and poor mental health can be partly explained by lonely employees missing out on social contact. Data suggests that as much as one-third of the increase in mental distress since the pandemic can be traced back to the rise in remote employment.

 

Researchers studying siblings have found evidence suggesting that second-born children, particularly boys, are more likely to challenge rules, take risks, and become involved in disciplinary issues compared to their first-born siblings. While experts stress that birth order does not determine a person’s future, the findings have fueled ongoing discussions about how family structure can shape personality.
