Khareef season officially begins today (June 21st), marking the start of three months of cooler weather in Dhofar and monsoon rains across Oman’s southern governorate. Dhofar remains one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations during Khareef, and transport links—including direct flights to Salalah—have been expanded to accommodate the expected increase in visitors.
Opening next year, The Beatles’ former headquarters in London will be transformed into a seven-story museum. The site was where the band recorded Let It Be and hosted its iconic 1969 rooftop concert, which became the group’s final public performance together. The museum will feature rare archival materials, immersive exhibits, and a recreated recording studio.
